7th - 10th Graders 

Leader-in-Training Program

Our Leader-in-Training Program is open to girls in 7th - 10th grades. It is an awesome opportunity for girls to learn valuable professional skills, be a great role model,  increase their exposure and love for STEM fields.

Who’s Eligible

-Girls entering 7th - 10th grades

-Girls exhibiting good character, adaptability, enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self control.


What’s Expected

-A minimum of a 2 week commitment from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

-Completion of a mandatory 4 hour training session (Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm)

-LIT’s are expected to behave in an appropriate manner without significant staff direction and supervision.

-Reliable transportation

Typical day as a LIT

Daily pre-camp leadership lessons, setting up basecamp, greeting campers, helping campers with projects,

creating camp culture, helping campers with conflict management, facilitating group conversations and managing peer relations.


Program Fee

There is a nominal participation fee of $50 to ensure all parents and participants are committed to the program. The fee also ensures that our LIT program offers a valuable learning experience for all girls. All participants are required to complete a minimum of two weeks.  The entire fee will be due upon your acceptance into the program.
